Hedges

A garden hedge is a living wall created by planting a row of shrubs or trees closely together and training them to grow into a dense, continuous barrier.

Here is why they make an excellent addition to any garden:

Key Benefits

  • Natural Privacy: They create an organic screen that blocks unwanted views from neighbours or the street.

  • Wind and Noise Reduction: The thick foliage absorbs street sounds and acts as a buffer against harsh winds.

  • Property Boundaries: They offer a softer, more attractive alternative to traditional wood or metal fencing, and can be grown in front of a fence to hide it from view.

  • Wildlife Habitat: Hedges provide vital shelter, nesting sites, and food for birds and beneficial insects.

  • Visual Appeal: They add structure, rich green textures, and sometimes beautiful seasonal flowers or berries to your landscape.
